Myths of Boo Radley – provide specific myths/stories associated with Boo and the Radley Place (be sure you include specific descriptions about the house, as well as the individuals)
  • He stabbed his father after years of never leaving his house.
  • He has been shoved up the chimney ever since he died.
  • Boo was arrested as a teenager with his freinds.
  • He dropped out of high school after the arrest.
  • His friends were sent to a learning center/prison, but he stayed in the Radley house on the word of the Radley family.
  • Another myth is that he is still alive.

  • Character description and analysis of Dill
  • Dill is a character who only apears in the story so far during the summer.
  • When Jem and Scout are with Dill, they all like to put on acting preformances.
  • Dill is a very curious character. He is the one that first suggests trying to get Boo Radley to come out of his house.
  • Dill also likes to be in control of the situation.
  • He also likes to be the center of attention and doesn't like being on the outside or having unimportant roles in things.
  • He really does care a lot about what people think of him.
  • Dill makes up lies about things. For example, he probally made up the story about him meeting his father. He did this because he is embarrased by the truth that he is not very close with his father.
  • Dill is also a schemer.
  • He is the one that come up with most of the plans and is always getting Scout and Jem into trouble.

  • Dill bet Jem to go up to the Radley house to ring the doorbell
  • Jem says no
  • After a few days of assorted name calling, Jem agrees to show he is not scared
  • Jem changes the bet to just touching the house
  • The bet is completed, and no one was eaten by Boo Radley
